We use local teachers to all schools if we are asked to assist you on your cover needs - it just isn't going to work if a teacher is travelling from far away. We understand that you want your supply teachers arriving on time!

Think Teachers is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children introduced by section 175 of the Education Act 2002 which came into force on 1 June 2004. 

 

The company adopts the requirements laid out in the DfE document ‘Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment’ 2007 and expects all staff and candidates on its register to share this commitment and to be fully aware of the importance of child protection.

 

In addition, Think Teachers is committed to ensuring that its obligations under the ‘Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act’ 2006 with regard to barred persons are met.

 

To ensure best practice and safeguarding in recruitment Greg Oram, Director of Think Teachers, has undertaken a ‘Safer Recruitment’ accredited course as well as Level One Safeguarding and Child Protection training provided by Herts for Learning.
